A reclaimed wooden coat rack with five tall metal hooks, cleaned, polished and waxed ready for its next home. The simple oak backboard has a warm natural finish with plenty of visible grain, while the quality double hooks have long upright stems finished with rounded ends and smaller lower hooks for bags, scarves or lighter pieces. More About This Piece

We’re always drawn to old storage that can simply be cleaned up and put straight back to work. This one has five generously spaced hooks, each with an upper and lower hanging point, making it particularly useful in a busy hallway or boot room.

We’ve cleaned the wood before polishing and waxing it, bringing out the grain and giving it a fresh finish without removing the marks and wear already there.

Condition

Good reclaimed condition with marks, knocks, old fixing holes and wear to the wood and metal consistent with previous use. Cleaned, polished and waxed by us while retaining the existing aged finish.

Why We Love It

Five proper hooks, plenty of hanging space and no unnecessary fuss. We particularly like the tall metal hooks against the warm wood, and it’s exactly the sort of old practical piece that still earns its place in a home.
