Pair of Painted Bedside Tables

Each bedside has a single drawer at the top with a cupboard beneath, giving you somewhere to keep the things you want close to hand as well as those you'd rather hide away.

The gently curved legs, shaped lower apron and moulded drawer fronts give them a distinctly French feel without being overly ornate. They've been finished in a muted French grey and distressed across the edges and mouldings, leaving plenty of variation in the surface rather than a flat newly painted finish.

Most importantly, they are a genuine matching pair – always harder to find when you're looking for older bedside furniture.

Good solid used condition with marks, knocks and irregularities from previous use. The painted finish is deliberately distressed, with rubbing, variations in colour and areas of the underlying surface showing through. Both drawers and cupboards provide useful storage.

A proper matching pair, a drawer for the useful bits and a cupboard for everything else. We particularly like the slightly scruffy grey finish – they're smart enough for a bedroom without looking too polished or precious.
