Edwardian Pine Drawers with Shou Sugi Ban Top
A lovely quality Edwardian chest of drawers, made from solid pine and carefully restored to highlight its original character while introducing a contemporary twist. The chest features two smaller drawers above two larger drawers, offering practical storage for clothing, linens or everyday household items. The original ebonised handles and brass escutcheons compliment the warm tones of the pine, while the top has been finished using a distinctive diamond-pattern shou sugi ban technique, creating a striking blackened, charred surface that contrasts beautifully with the natural timber below. The piece has been fully restored in our workshop, waxed and polished, with all four drawers running smoothly, and is ready to enjoy in its next home.
