Working with DIY SOS in the South West

Being invited by Gabrielle Blackman to help supply and style homes for several South West episodes of DIY SOS has been one of the most rewarding experiences for our team to date. Working on such life-changing home renovation projects alongside local trades, volunteers, designers, and suppliers has been both inspiring and unforgettable.

Supporting Families Through Life-Changing Home Transformations

At the heart of every DIY SOS build is a family with an incredible story. Many have faced serious illness, disability, loss, or other unimaginable challenges, and the aim of every project is to create a home that genuinely improves their day-to-day lives.

Being able to contribute through interior styling, furniture supply, and finishing touches is something we feel extremely proud to be part of. Seeing the final reveal and the reaction from the families makes every long day worthwhile.

Behind the Scenes of a BBC DIY SOS Build

People are often surprised to learn that what you see on television is completely real. Aside from the initial groundwork and preparation, the entire house transformation is completed in just nine days. From builders and electricians to decorators, landscapers, suppliers, and the TV production crew, hundreds of people work around the clock to bring the project together on time.

The atmosphere on site is unlike anything else — fast-paced, emotional, inspiring, and full of community spirit. Everyone involved shares the same goal: creating a safe, practical, and beautiful home for a deserving family.

Our Interior Styling & Home Supply Work

As part of the South West DIY SOS projects, we have helped supply and style a range of spaces, carefully selecting furniture, décor, and finishing details to help turn newly renovated houses into warm and welcoming homes. Every detail matters, and it’s incredibly rewarding to help create spaces that families can truly enjoy for years to come.
