French vineyard wine table

19th Century French vineyard Vendange table made from solid oak with a rich dark aged finish and traditional folding base. Originally used during the grape harvest in French vineyards, this oval wine table features a practical tilt-top design allowing the legs to fold flat for easy storage and transport. Showing the grain, natural wear and patina built up over many years of use, it's a useful piece that works equally well as an occasional table, breakfast table, in a garden room for displaying plants, or for serving drinks when entertaining outdoors. Its compact oval shape makes it a great option for smaller spaces without compromising on presence. A genuine piece of French vineyard furniture that's becoming increasingly difficult to find. There are signs of historic woodworm, which have been fully treated as a precaution, and the table has been finished with a clear wax to nourish and protect the timber.
