A stunning rare collection of Japanese Mashiko wood fired pottery. Each vessel has been hand thrown then fired in a traditional clay lined wood fired kiln for upto 30 hours, where the soda glazes react with the ash & smoke giving each piece a unique finish. Sourced by one of our suppliers from a studio in Mashiko Tochigi that closed down 10 years ago, and these pieces lay forgotten until recently and being seen for the very first time.
