Large Dutch dough bowl
£150.00
Large antique Dutch dough bowls, each hand scooped from a single piece of wood. Traditionally used in bread making, their generous size and shallow form make them ideal for planters, kitchen storage or holding logs. The pale wood has been finished with a natural wax, bringing out the grain and texture. Surface variations from the carving process remain visible, adding to their handmade character. Some signs of historic worm are present, which have been treated as a precaution, consistent with their age and use.
